Where to eat in Nusa Lembongan: 8 restaurants you can't miss. From local warungs, to ocean views.

Where Are The Best Restaurants in Nusa Lembongan?

I noticed that restaurants on Nusa Lembongan are mostly clustered around the main tourist areas, with just a couple located along the road from the west to the north of the island (around Panorama Point if you have Google Maps on hand) — where you’ll get insane views over Jungut Batu Beach and even Mount Agung on a clear day.

Nusa Lembongan isn’t very walkable, unless you’re staying and eating in the same area (like Mushroom Bay or Jungut Batu). That’s why you’ll likely need your own scooter or a taxi to reach most places.

In Jungut Batu, you’ll find plenty of options along the main street (on Jl. Jungut Batu, where Bali Eco Deli is located) as well as directly on the beachfront, like Ginger & Jamu.

Another popular area is Mushroom Bay, with several restaurants right on the sand and plenty of warungs hidden in the small streets behind, like the popular Soka Warung.

Restaurants & Roads

Most of the restaurants in this post are located on the west side of the island, around Mushroom Bay.

The road from the west to the north isn’t well lit at night and has plenty of potholes along with a few ups and downs. If you’re planning to move from one area to another, keep the road conditions in mind and drive carefully.

8 Best Restaurants in Nusa Lembongan

In this list, you’ll find all kinds of places to eat — from local warungs to beachside spots with a view, and even cliffside bars perfect for catching the sunset.

1. Dream Beach Huts Restaurant

Best for the view over the Ocean

I honestly don’t know the name of the restaurant, but once you arrive at Dream Beach and spot the swing, you’ll find a restaurant and pool club immediately on the left.

I ended up coming here twice during my stay in Nusa Lembongan. The incredibly relaxing pool club, with its infinity pool (only IDR 100K a day for the sunbed) and the fresh, tasty food, hooked me from the very first visit.

Plus, Dream Beach turned out to be one of my favorite beaches in Nusa Lembongan.

You can try one of their Indonesian specialties (my parents loved the Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng). I went for the poke bowl both times — a big, fresh, veggie-packed bowl that honestly left me so happy (which is honestly rare when it comes to the size of the bowl)

A bit out of context, but here massages are the cheapest (and highest quality) for the price (IDR 150K for one hour). You can book at the main office right behind the bar.

2. Hai Grill & Bar

Best for seafood and view over Mushroom Bay

Hai Grill & Bar is part of the Hai Tide Beach Resort (and if you’re looking for a place to stay, their beachfront bungalows looked absolutely lovely), but it’s also open to outside guests.

The restaurant itself is an open bamboo structure right on Mushroom Bay, and it’s one of the most popular spots in the area, so I definitely suggest booking in advance.

They serve the freshest seafood, which is what I’d honestly recommend. I had the juiciest piece of barramundi, while my mom treated herself to a grilled seafood platter.

Even though it’s one of the nicest restaurants on the island, the vibe is super relaxed. The staff are funny, chatty, and help create the best lively atmosphere.

3. L Good Bar & Grill

Best for the entertainment and value for money spent

We finally got to dine at L Good Bar & Grill on the last night of our stay. Every time we passed by, there was fun live music going on, and we knew it was something we couldn’t miss.

It turned out to be such an unexpected surprise: even though the place is a bit rustic, the food was delicious.

They have plenty of grilled fish and meat options, and the best part is that many of them come with access to the salad bar (yellow rice, cooked vegetables, and Greek salad).

The live music was honestly super entertaining. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll see tipsy men dancing with the singer, families getting pulled into the show, and maybe even get asked to sing along yourself.

4. Sanghyang Bay Bar and Restaurant

Best for an intimate atmosphere and beach view

The atmosphere here is much more intimate and laid-back compared to Hai Restaurant and Bar.

Sanghyang Bay Restaurant is also located on Mushroom Bay, and I was drawn in by the live music again—pop songs in a soft, studio version.

During the day, it’s the perfect spot to have a fresh coconut while watching the small snorkeling boats come and go, or to catch the sunset over Mushroom Bay.

For dinner, I loved the seafood. The squid came in a generous portion, and the salmon was just as delicious.

It’s one of those places that looks way too simple from the outside, but everything — from the seafood to the smoothies and salads — is surprisingly good.

5. Fin’s Bar & Restaurant

Best for the entertainment

This was the only restaurant we tried around the Jungut Batu area, after realizing the roads were way too dark and bumpy to ride up and down at night (check the location before booking your stay!).

What first caught my eye about Fin’s Bar was its design and structure. I’d passed by in the afternoon and thought to myself, “Yep, we should definitely have dinner here.”

And it didn’t disappoint. The place had such a fun vibe — the restaurant was almost full, and a live band was playing to keep everyone entertained.

The menu has a mix of Indonesian classics and Western dishes, plus great cocktails. I’d definitely recommend the bruschetta, and the tacos were amazing too!

6. Warung Kevin

Best for homemade local food

Warung Kevin was such a surprise. We stopped here for lunch on our first day in Nusa Lembongan, right after checking out Tamarind Beach.

It’s probably the most local and authentic experience I’ve had on the island. The place is a bit hidden — you’ll need to head towards Tamarind Beach to find it — but it’s so worth it.

The warung is family-owned and very small: just a couple of tables scattered in a tiny garden and an open-view kitchen where everything is cooked right in front of you.

And can you believe we had the best Nasi Goreng of our whole stay here? That’s coming from a picky eater and first-timer in Asia (aka my dad).

The food is not only delicious but also super cheap, so don’t skip it if you’re nearby — even if it looks way too simple at first glance.

Other Restaurants With A View in Nusa Lembongan

I didn’t have the chance to have lunch or dinner in the following restaurants, but I did stop by for a cocktail at sunset — one of the most popular things to do in Nusa Lembongan.

These spots are well worth checking out if you’re looking for the most surreal sunset view.

7. Sunset Bar

I hadn’t even planned to go there until I met two girls who asked if I wanted to join. An iced tea with a view? Count me in!

What I wasn’t ready for was that view. Sunset Bar is about a 5-minute walk from Mushroom Bay, and as often happens in Lembongan, the little street that takes you there feels like a total turn-off — you start wondering where you’re even heading.

But once you make it to the top, you’ll find this vibey restaurant/bar, pop music playing, the wind in your hair, and a cliff-top setting that opens up to one of the best fiery sunsets I’d seen in Lembongan (at least until the next day).

I can’t comment on the food, but the view alone makes it worth a stop.

8. Mahana Point (Surf Place)

Mahana Point is actually on Nusa Ceningan, but you can get there in about 15 minutes by scooter from Nusa Lembongan. It’s probably the best sunset spot across both islands.

I didn’t actually stop here to eat, but I couldn’t help noticing all the people sitting at the high tables, beers in hand, watching the view from the edge of the cliffside restaurant.

This is where I witnessed the most amazing sunset — waves crashing hard against the cliffs just below, while the whole sky lit up in fiery colors.

I can’t say anything about the food, but if I had to pick the one place that completely took my breath away in Nusa Lembongan (even if it’s technically in Ceningan), this would be it.
